Kansas City Girls Academy is aware of the lawsuits that have been filed and of the recent reporting about them.
The safety and well-being of every student entrusted to our care is our highest responsibility, and we take any allegation to the contrary seriously.
We respectfully but firmly disagree with the allegations in these lawsuits. Because this is active litigation involving former students who were minors at the time, it would be inappropriate for us to discuss individual students or their records publicly. We will respond fully and directly through the legal process, where the facts can be presented in full.
Kansas City Girls Academy is registered with the State of Missouri, and our academic program is accredited by Cognia. We regularly engage an independent third party to review our student care and supervision practices and consistently implement their recommendations to improve best practices.
Out of respect for the court process and for the privacy of our students and families, we will not be commenting further at this time.
